What is the purpose of this resin goat? It can be argued that objects of beauty have an intrinsic function in that their very existence improves the world. But I don't think that philosophy applies to this goat, which, while cute, seems like it should be utilitarian in some way... perhaps it is the price point. Perhaps it is its 40" height.

A horse statue on the same site features "A Base with wheels... for stability & mobility" and a "Tail... made of a realistic Nylon that is Waterproof". Again, seemingly practical, but just who is pulling their $1800 horse statue around by its waterproof tail? People in south central Florida, judging by the area code, but I need to know more.

Seriously sexy this portable radio comes from Crosley, the manufactures of hopefully my next turntable. They make the fantastic retro reproductions.

This radio was inspired by vintage luggage and based on 1930s design, it sports a richly detailed full-range speaker, sturdy wood cabinet dressed in classic tweed vinyl, AM/FM/Aux Input select switch at the back, and an adapter that allows you to conveniently select between wall power and batteries. With all that how coudl you not indulge?

Because although skeleton hoodies are awesome sometimes you need to change it up with a nice bounty hunter hoodie. Or you've never seen yourself as a Han or Luke, Marc Ecko brings you seriously cool Storm Trooper and Boba Fett hoodies. Honestly I could spend soem serious time around the house in either. Check out the full Star Wars Collection.

Some people just have style, their own undeniable thing. And I must say that YOKOO has some serious look. I'm loving her whole shop. From the gorgeously thick knits to the sparse and color saturated photography to her excellent wardrobe. It's all beyond delightful. Check out her latest looks on her blog.

Delightfully shiny this re-interpretation of a traditional carriage clock has a glass front with ornate etching and roman numerals and a chrome clock mechanism (including a separate second hand) suspended behind it.

Basically it's a really smart take on a great old design. It also weighs in pretty big so clear off your mantle. Simple assembly required, single aa battery not included (14.75"h x 10"w x 3.25"d).

Perhaps I have been spending too much time with elves but I can't help loving the Park watch from TOKYObay. It comes in green, red and brown with a domed dial and 60's styling.

Personally I think the green is the obvious choice. With red cut-outs on its green band and red detailing on the dial, it's showing some serious complementary color cred. All for only $75.00.

Striking 7×9 inch Giclee prints of original mug shot paintings from a book of black and white crime photographs. Each one is a limited edition of only 10 prints on a paper sack.

Most of the mug shots range between the 1890’s to the 1950’s. The contrast of vibrant colors and depressing futures makes the subject all the more exciting.
